The dispute involving Morrisons\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 supermarket petrol stations in London, the South East and East Anglia has been settled.<\/p>\n

\nUnite said today (January 27) that the 19 drivers, employed by DHL Supply Chain and based in West Thurrock, were continuing to work normally and there was now no threat of industrial action.<\/p>\n

The dispute had centred<\/a> on a driver who had his wages \u00e2\u20ac\u0098docked\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 over seven months to the tune of \u00c2\u01415,200, after he was involved in an accident, which the union had said\u00c2\u00a0was not his fault and that the bosses\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 reaction was \u00e2\u20ac\u0098grossly unfair\u00e2\u20ac\u2122.<\/p>\n

Unite members were being balloted for strike action and industrial action short of a strike last week (January 19).<\/p>\n

But after constructive talks, both sides have reached an agreement.<\/p>\n

A joint statement from DHL and the union said, \u00e2\u20ac\u015bFollowing productive talks with DHL management, Unite is pleased to confirm that this matter has been resolved satisfactorily.\u00e2\u20ac\u0165<\/p>\n
