{"id":14433,"date":"2018-01-18T16:22:05","date_gmt":"2018-01-18T16:22:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/unitelive.org\/?p=14433"},"modified":"2020-11-12T12:59:12","modified_gmt":"2020-11-12T12:59:12","slug":"fantastic-boost","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/unitelive.test.igniteamt.com\/?p=14433","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;Fantastic boost&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n<p>Unite hailed the skills and hard work of Airbus workers today (January 18) after the airline Emirates signed an agreement to order up to 36 additional A380 aircraft.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Describing the news as a \u00e2\u20ac\u0098fantastic boost\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 Unite said the order should guarantee current production rates for the foreseeable future and secure jobs at Airbus\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 North Wales Broughton site, where the super jumbo\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s wings are made.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u015bThis is fantastic news and will ensure the continued production of one the world\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s best loved passenger airliners,&#8221; said Unite assistant general secretary Steve Turner.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u015bIt is a massive vote of confidence in the skills and continued hard work of Airbus workers and will secure jobs at the plane maker\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Broughton site in North Wales where they make the wings for the A380.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u015bAirbus workers will be delighted by this announcement and hopeful that more orders will follow to secure the production of this superb aircraft for many years to come.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u015bThe UK\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s aerospace workers have once again proved that they are among the best in the world.
