{"id":16707,"date":"2018-11-14T16:52:41","date_gmt":"2018-11-14T16:52:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/unitelive.org\/?p=16707"},"modified":"2020-11-12T12:57:52","modified_gmt":"2020-11-12T12:57:52","slug":"unite-ambrosia-workers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/unitelive.test.igniteamt.com\/?p=16707","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;Clear answers&#8217; call"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n<p>Unite, which represents over 300 hundred workers at Ambrosia\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s factory in Lifton south Devon, is seeking urgent answers following yesterday\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s (November 13)\u00c2\u00a0announcement that the owners Premier Foods is seeking a buyer for the business.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Despite announcing it is looking to sell the factory, Premier Foods has also said that if a buyer cannot be found the company will continue to operate the site.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Unite is concerned about the lack of consultation there has been with the workforce prior to the announcement and that no time limit has been given in seeking a buyer.
