{"id":17469,"date":"2019-03-06T11:42:06","date_gmt":"2019-03-06T11:42:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/unitelive.org\/?p=17469"},"modified":"2020-11-12T12:57:11","modified_gmt":"2020-11-12T12:57:11","slug":"hackney-strikes-disabled-bus-services","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/unitelive.test.igniteamt.com\/?p=17469","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;Enough is enough&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n<p>Hackney council is being blamed for four days of planned strikes by drivers and passenger escorts on the school buses for disabled children in a dispute over payments for working split shifts.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Unite said its 33 members, who drive and assist the children to and from school on a daily basis, will stage four 24- hour strikes on March\u00c2\u00a019 and 26 \u00c2\u00a0and then on April 2 and 4.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The dispute centres on a \u00c2\u014150 a week claim for compensation for the split shifts, backdated to July last year when the issue was first raised.
