{"id":17790,"date":"2019-04-10T16:38:06","date_gmt":"2019-04-10T15:38:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/unitelive.org\/?p=17790"},"modified":"2020-11-12T12:56:52","modified_gmt":"2020-11-12T12:56:52","slug":"newham-bin-workers-lose-20k-council","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/unitelive.test.igniteamt.com\/?p=17790","title":{"rendered":"Newham council &#8216;ducking and diving&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n<p>Refuse workers employed by Newham council could have lost more than \u00c2\u014120,000 each in the last decade in a dispute over grading, Unite said today (April 11).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The 45 refuse workers will be balloted for strike action from\u00c2\u00a0April 23 over the council\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s failure to progress them through the grading structure which should, as agreed, have commenced 12 years ago in 2007\/2008.
