{"id":18111,"date":"2019-05-23T16:31:51","date_gmt":"2019-05-23T15:31:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/unitelive.org\/?p=18111"},"modified":"2020-11-12T12:56:28","modified_gmt":"2020-11-12T12:56:28","slug":"pub-deliveries-thirsty-summer-strike","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/unitelive.test.igniteamt.com\/?p=18111","title":{"rendered":"Thirsty summer?"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n<p>Pub and club goers in Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the north Midlands could go thirsty this summer if a dispute over drivers being ask to deliver \u00e2\u20ac\u0098unmanageable loads\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 escalates to strike action, Unite warned today (May 23).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>About 100 drivers and their mates employed by drink logistics company Tradeteam Ltd at depots in Immingham, Lincolnshire and Tinsley, Sheffield will be balloted for strike action from Wednesday, May 29. The ballot closes on Wednesday, June 12.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If the workers decide on industrial action it will hit drinks deliveries to pubs, bars and restaurants owned by Greene King, Mitchells &amp; Butlers, Wetherspoons and Whitbread.
