{"id":18283,"date":"2019-06-19T17:20:06","date_gmt":"2019-06-19T16:20:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/unitelive.org\/?p=18283"},"modified":"2020-11-12T12:56:25","modified_gmt":"2020-11-12T12:56:25","slug":"morrisons-drivers-and-mechanics-in-transfer-row-strike-ballot-vote","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/unitelive.test.igniteamt.com\/?p=18283","title":{"rendered":"\u00e2\u20ac\u0098Sense of betrayal\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 over 400 jobs outsource plan"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n<p>A sense of betrayal at plans by supermarket giant Morrisons to outsource nearly 400 drivers and mechanics has triggered a consultative ballot on whether to take strike action to fight this move, Unite, Britain and Ireland\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s largest union, said today (June 19).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Unite has sent ballot papers to its members at three Morrison sites &#8211; Gadbrook (Cheshire), Stockton-on-Tees (County Durham) and Wakefield in West Yorkshire \u00e2\u20ac\u201c asking them whether they wish to proceed to a full scale industrial ballot.
