Unite has developed a special 3-ply face covering to keep you and those you might come into contact with safer.<\/p>\n

The face covering complies with WHO standards guidance for layer and materials, and is supplied with a comfy clip.<\/p>\n

Available in medium, large and extra large sizes, it has a hydrophobic outer layer made from 82 per cent polyester and 18 per cent \u00e2\u20ac\u0098Xtra life Lycra\u00e2\u20ac\u2122. This coating is C6 FC \u00e2\u20ac\u201c so it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s approved for face covering use. The nonwoven middle outer layer is 70gsm worth of spun-bonded polypropylene; and the inner layer is 100 per cent cotton jersey 190gsm \u00e2\u20ac\u201c so you can stay comfortable for longer.<\/p>\n

To get the right size medium<\/strong> measures 18 x 8 cm flat with 15 cm of elastic each side. For large<\/strong> it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s 18 x 9 cm with 19 cm elastic each side. And for extra-large<\/strong>, it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s 18 x 9 cm with 21 cm elastic each side.<\/p>\n

Our production team insiders say, \u00e2\u20ac\u015bIt is always better to go with a larger size and use the comfy grip to help fit to the face.\u00e2\u20ac\u0165<\/p>\n

The manufacturer, as does Unite, both strenuously add that this covering is for civilian use only<\/strong>. It is not intended for use in a medical setting or in environments where the wearer must be protected from gasses and toxins.<\/p>\n

We urge you to note that however great this covering is, it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s just \u00e2\u20ac\u0098a source control covering\u00e2\u20ac\u2122, and not PPE. It should not be used by workers in a healthcare setting, or anywhere else that full PPE is required.<\/p>\n

But maybe the best part about it is that the vibrant-red covering also features the distinctive Unite logo \u00e2\u20ac\u201c great for promoting the work of the union and encouraging non-members to consider joining.<\/p>\n

And finally some important information. Wash the covering at a virus-killing 60 degrees \u00e2\u20ac\u201c don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t worry the hydrophobic coating will last for 50 washes. It can also be hand dried and ironed at a low temperature.\u00c2\u00a0But please do note that your face covering must be pulled flat after washing.<\/p>\n
