{"id":28452,"date":"2021-04-16T12:37:24","date_gmt":"2021-04-16T11:37:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/unitelive.org\/?p=28452"},"modified":"2021-04-16T12:37:26","modified_gmt":"2021-04-16T11:37:26","slug":"fighting-its-members-corner","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/unitelive.test.igniteamt.com\/?p=28452","title":{"rendered":"\u00e2\u20ac\u0098Fighting its\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 members corner\u00e2\u20ac\u2122"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n<p>Staff members at The Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) have voted overwhelmingly in favour of Unite being their recognised trade union to represent them on pay and employment issues.<\/p>\n<p>The 200 plus staff members voted by 87 per cent on a 76 per cent turn-out in favour trade union representation, following two rounds of redundancies at the RCGP since the start of the pandemic last year.<\/p>\n<p>The RCGP, founded in 1952, is the professional body for more than 50,000 GPs.
