{"id":3814,"date":"2015-04-22T10:41:26","date_gmt":"2015-04-22T09:41:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/unitelive.org\/?p=3814"},"modified":"2015-04-22T10:41:26","modified_gmt":"2015-04-22T09:41:26","slug":"foxs-biscuits-strike-called-off","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/unitelive.test.igniteamt.com\/?p=3814","title":{"rendered":"Fox\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Biscuits strike called off"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n<p>The strike at Fox\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Biscuits in Batley, west Yorkshire by engineering workers on Tuesday and Thursday has been suspended for a vote on a new pay offer to take place, Unite announced yesterday (April 21).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/unitelive.org\/fox-on-the-run\/\">As UniteLive reported last week<\/a>, the 42 engineers were due to have staged stoppages for six hours from 4am to 10am Tuesday and on Thursday over the pay issue, but these have been suspended for the pay vote.<\/p>\n<p>The engineers at the Wellington Street site were angry at the original one per cent offer for the year, starting on August 1, 2014, with a further two per cent from August 1 of this year.
