{"id":626,"date":"2014-08-08T13:12:10","date_gmt":"2014-08-08T12:12:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/unitelive.org\/?p=626"},"modified":"2014-08-08T13:59:14","modified_gmt":"2014-08-08T12:59:14","slug":"soldiers-unknown","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/unitelive.test.igniteamt.com\/?p=626","title":{"rendered":"Soldiers, unknown"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n<p><strong>Private Edward Pouch<\/strong> (pictured shortly after the war) is remembered by <strong>Eryn Pouch<\/strong>. age 11<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>100 years ago<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>100 years ago my great granddad trained to be a soldier<\/p>\n<p>100 years ago my great granddad went to war<\/p>\n<p>100 years ago my great granddad fought for our country<\/p>\n<p>100 years ago my great granddad turned into a fighter<\/p>\n<p>100 years ago my great granddad saved lives<\/p>\n<p>100 years ago my great granddad was terribly wounded<\/p>\n<p>100 years ago my great granddad was lucky to come home<\/p>\n<p>100 years ago my great granddad wasn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t fit for work after his return<\/p>\n<p>100 years ago my great granddad was a HERO!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Private Peter McKay<\/strong> of 1<sup>st<\/sup> Bn., Royal Scots Fusiliers, died on October 2, 1918 age 23, just five weeks before Armistice Day.
