{"id":6408,"date":"2015-10-22T16:15:03","date_gmt":"2015-10-22T15:15:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/unitelive.org\/?p=6408"},"modified":"2015-10-22T16:15:03","modified_gmt":"2015-10-22T15:15:03","slug":"tribute-to-solidarity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/unitelive.test.igniteamt.com\/?p=6408","title":{"rendered":"\u00e2\u20ac\u0098Tribute to solidarity\u00e2\u20ac\u2122"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n<p>The pay dispute at Case New Holland Tractor Ltd in Basildon, Essex has been settled, after the workforce accepted an improved pay offer.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\nThe 460-strong hourly paid production workforce, members of Unite, were due to start a 36-hour strike at 11.45 today (October 22), but this has now been suspended.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\nThe offer that has now been accepted is two per cent for 2015 and two per cent for 2016. There is also an improvement in pay when tractor production is not taking place which means workers receiving 60 per cent of their pay for 20 days a year, instead of the current five.
