He is the only member of the Miami Five who has finished the full term of his harsh and unjust prison sentence.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Miami Five, also known as the Cuban Five, were imprisoned by the US government after uncovering a terrorist plot against Cuba. They were given between 15 years and double life sentences.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>While in prison, Ren\u0102\u00a9 was denied visits from his wife, and he lost his father and only brother.
