{"id":8839,"date":"2016-05-25T16:29:44","date_gmt":"2016-05-25T15:29:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/unitelive.org\/?p=8839"},"modified":"2016-05-25T17:19:13","modified_gmt":"2016-05-25T16:19:13","slug":"holiday-flights-action-backed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/unitelive.test.igniteamt.com\/?p=8839","title":{"rendered":"Holiday flights action backed"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n<p>Unite cabin crew members working for Thomas Cook Airlines have backed strike action by three-to-one in a dispute over health and safety concerns and \u00e2\u20ac\u0098dangerous\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 changes to rest breaks it was announced today (May 25).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Nearly three quarters of those voting backed taking action as Unite said it would be entering further talks with the company tomorrow at the conciliation service Acas in a bid to resolve the dispute. Further talks are scheduled next Tuesday (May 31).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u015bWe hope that the company take note of this strong vote in favour of action and works with us constructively to resolve the dispute and avoid any potential industrial action,\u00e2\u20ac\u0165 said Oliver Richardson, Unite national officer.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u015bWe have already had exploratory talks with Thomas Cook at Acas.
