{"id":9438,"date":"2016-08-03T17:18:03","date_gmt":"2016-08-03T16:18:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/unitelive.org\/?p=9438"},"modified":"2016-08-03T17:25:56","modified_gmt":"2016-08-03T16:25:56","slug":"dismaying-jobs-threat","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/unitelive.test.igniteamt.com\/?p=9438","title":{"rendered":"\u00e2\u20ac\u0098Dismaying\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 jobs threat"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n<p>The announcement today (August 3) of a possible 64 job losses at the Riverside housing association in Cumbria has been met with dismay by Unite.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Riverside said the cause of the threatened job losses in Cumbria was part of a nationwide plan to save \u00c2\u014130m over the next three years to absorb the impact of the annual one per cent cut in housing association rents imposed by the government last summer.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Unite said that Riverside has a two-year plan to reduce jobs across the UK by up to 300-400 employees.
