Pirates ahoy!

Pictured are Greenwich Council traffic wardens, on strike on Friday September 5. Dressed as pirates, the Unite members were asking for ÂŁ1 more an hour.

It seems that the Council could stump up for the Tall Ships Race (pictured behind) and yet are refusing to pay local authority staff a decent rate.
