Unite pays tribute to lifelong trade union activist

In a tribute to lifelong Unite member and socialist activist, Betty Tebbs, who passed on Monday (January 23) at the age of 98, Unite relives a passionate speech she gave at last year’s Real Britain fringe of the Labour Party conference in September. Betty was also a Unite Community member, as well as a member of Unite’s predecessor unions from the age of 14.
