Fair pay fight
BoE workers strike for fair pay

Today (August 1) Unite members at the Bank of England began a three day strike. All they are asking for is fair pay.
Without consulting the union or staff, the bank imposed a one per cent increase into the pay pot. This does not mean that workers get a one per cent pay rise — some of the workers will get less than one per cent and some will not get any rise at all!
Even if you do get one per cent it will still equate to a real terms pay cut.
