Bank holiday action off as workers considering revised offer

Workers employed by London Luton Airport have postponed their planned industrial action over the forthcoming bank holiday weekend which was due to commence on Friday, May 25.
The workforce will consider a revised offer from management, but should the revised offer be rejected Unite still has a mandate for further strike action.
Strike action by workers employed by Menzies Aviation at Luton Airport has not been called off. However, the baggage handlers are also considering a revised offer from Menzies management. The action is due to begin at 3am Saturday, May 26 until 2pm Sunday, May 27.
Unite’s members employed by Clece Care Service Ltd are still taking action from 5am Monday May 28 until 5am Wednesday, May 30.
