‘Completely betrayed’

After Honda today (February 19) confirmed that it would be closing its plant in Swindon in 2022, Unite vowed that it would not take the news lying down and would continue to fight for jobs.

Speaking on Sky News today, Unite assistant general secretary Steve Turner said, “If Honda think that they’re just going to simply withdraw from the UK without a fight to maintain production here then they can dream on.”
