‘Work with us’ call

Speaking ahead of a discussion today (June 6) with Unite’s manufacturing reps at the union’s central office in London, shadow chancellor John McDonnell expressed disappointment at Ford’s decision to close its Bridgend plant. He urged auto firms to ‘work with us and not against us’ to ensure the UK car industry succeeds:
