Thousands of Unite members joined 150,000 fellow trade unionists and their families on Saturday (October 18), as they marched against austerity and the Tory governments’ continued attacks on the poorest and most vulnerable.

Unite general secretary Len McCluskey told the crowd, “The achievements of our forefathers and mothers are in our hands – hold on tight to our heritage and don’t loosen your grip… keep the faith, keep fighting and victory will be ours.”
