Health campaigners from across the country staged a “die-in” today (April 30), gathering outside the Department of Health to deliver a petition to save the NHS.
UniteLive spoke to Andy Slaughter, Labour prospective parliamentary candidate for Hammersmith on why a vote for Labour would mean a vote for the NHS.
“[The health service] is the number one issue of this election – both because Labour has to save the NHS but also because a Conservative government, I believe, will destroy the NHS in five years,” Slaughter said in the video below.
