As Unite’s The View Hotel in Eastbourne completes major renovations—from its state-of-the-art conference facilities to a brand new restaurant and a new online booking service – your next summer holiday could not be easier, more relaxing and more affordable than ever.

Conference choice

The View’s General Manager, Matt Huddart described the conference facilities’ renovations (pictured), which were just recently completed in March.

 
“We’ve refurbished the central hall and the seminar rooms and upgraded all the audio and visual equipment,” he said.
“Our lunch menu has been updated as well,” he added. “The facilities are all very fresh looking now, with the modern equipment today’s conferences need.”

 
Matt spoke about the new restaurant renovations, which are still ongoing and are scheduled to be completed by late summer.

 
“We’re going to have a complete overhaul of the restaurant,” he said. “The menu will be entirely redone with a lot more variety than we have now. Currently we have a set menu, but after the renovations are completed, we’ll have both a buffet concept for delegates as well as a brasserie for a more family dining experience.

 
“Once the refurbishments are completed, it will have the feel of an all-inclusive holiday,” Matt added.

 
Other hotel renovations now underway include the creation of a new event room above the restaurant which can accommodate up to 180 delegates cabaret style.

Online booking

The View’s Rooms Revenue Manager, Claire Prysor-Jones explained how Unite members can book their next stay online.

 
“Before the latest update to our website, Unite members would have to call to book their discounted reservations, but now they’re all available online. All you need to do is select your preferred dates and room preferences, and then select the Unite member option. Afterwards, you’ll just have to provide your member details on arrival with no pre payments or deposits required.”

 
Another advantage of The View’s new online site is that it enables flexible pricing. It allows the hotel to offer more competitive rates to its guests. This means that you can take advantage of even deeper discounts during less busy times.
