Just 7p

After having no pay rise above the rate of inflation since the Coalition took power in 2010, the latest insult to NHS staff is a miserly one per cent increase – but only for staff on the top of their pay scale. This works out at just 7p more an hour for the lowest paid staff or 13p per hour if distributed fairly amongst all Agenda for Change staff. Staff are being balloted until September 26.
